Adopt-A-Classroom

Adopt-a-Classroom is a program offered by the ERZ to place a University of Arkansas professor, staff member, or doctoral student in an area classroom one time a month for a school semester or year. The purpose of this? Students will become excited about becoming a college student in the not-so-distant future, and teachers and faculty will learn from each other. An example of sharing resources and "real-life learning" through this collaboration is portrayed in a recent Arkansas Democrat-Gazette article (subscription required) and an audio presentation on KUAF.
